I made the first batch of this salve back in 2003. We had a baby in diapers, and I wanted to make my own balm for diaper changes from the plants I’d been reading about in my early herbal studies. I noticed the salve worked really well, not just for baby’s bottom but also for burns, chapped or cracked skin, cuts and other irritations. Most recently a friend told me it was the best product she’d found for tattoo aftercare.
